Scholarships
This Live newsletter will be published continually as we receive scholarship information in the Student Services Department. All scholarship information can be found under the ‘Student Services’ link on the OGHS homepage and via your Senior Canvas Course link, which will have the most updated scholarship information.
The OGHS Live Scholarship Newsletter is not all inclusive of scholarships available but a list of scholarships sent directly to our department.
College/University Scholarships
As you apply to colleges, please be sure to check the school’s website for a listing of scholarships and deadlines (either on the Admissions website or Financial Aid website). You should also research deadlines for applications.

Davidson County Education Foundation (DCEF)
Local Scholarships
Each year, applications are sent to each high school counselor’s office in February—the deadline for returning the completed applications to the counselor in late March. The DCEF Scholarship Committee, in addition to the DCEF Board or the Sponsor’s family, determines the recipient of each scholarship in mid-April.
There are approximately 30 scholarships available to all local Davidson County Public High School seniors and teachers. Please check with the designated high school counselors around mid-February.
