College/University Scholarships
As you apply to colleges, be sure to visit each school's Admissions or Financial Aid webpage to explore scholarship opportunities and deadlines. Many schools offer their own scholarships, and application deadlines vary—research carefully to stay on track.

Davidson County Education Foundation (DCEF)
Local Scholarships
Each year, applications are sent to each high school counselor’s office in February—the deadline for returning the completed applications to the counselor in late March. The DCEF Scholarship Committee, in addition to the DCEF Board or the Sponsor’s family, determines the recipient of each scholarship in mid-April.
There are approximately 30 scholarships available to all local Davidson County Public High School seniors and teachers. Please check with the designated high school counselors around mid-February.
