Mrs. Spain
My name is Kristian Spain and I am joining the Math department at Oak Grove High School this year! I was born and raised in Davidson county and am a graduate of Lexington Senior High School. I earned my Bachelors degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from East Carolina University and am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Instructional Technology at ECU. I have 10 years experience teaching math at both the middle and high school level in Wake county schools and Lexington City Schools. My husband Robert and I have a 5 year old son, Eli, and welcomed a baby girl, Karlee, into our family on pi day (3/14) of this year! We have a 13 year old chihuahua terrier mix and a 3 year old three legged Saint Bernard. I am so excited and thankful for the opportunity to join the Oak Grove family!
