Hey Student and Parents/Guardians!

 

This will be my eleventh year of teaching and fifth year here at Oak Grove! I grew up in this area and graduated from Ledford High School in 2009.  I then went on to graduate from Appalachian State University in 2013 with my Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education.  While there, I met my wife, Jordan.  We got married in 2014 and have since been blessed with two children.  Addie, our oldest, will be in 2nd Grade at Midway Elementary and our son, Noah, turned 5 this past July.  They are our pride and joy!

 

This year at Oak Grove, I will be teaching Foundations of Math 1, Math 1 and AP Pre-Calculus.  Other than serving as a teacher, I also serve as an Assistant Wrestling Coach and our schools FCA/FCS sponsor/leader/representative.  I take my job as a teacher and coach very serious and know the immense privilege it is to serve them in that role...but even more so to be someone that is a leader in a students walk of faith.
