Mrs. Bodenheimer

Get to know me...

My name is Ashley Bodenheimer and I teach Culinary Arts and Hospitality. I reside and grew up in Wallburg and was a Ledford Panther where I was a Cheerleader under Mrs. Debbie Pope and a Softball player under Mr. Joe Davis.  I attended Catawba College for 2 years and then transferred and graduated from Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. Most recently, I became Nationally Board Certified in the Fall of 22'.  I completed two internships during my senior year at WCU, one with REACH of Jackson County, and the other with WCU athletic department planning promotional events. After college, I worked in the hospitality industry for about 10 years planning specialty events for The American Cancer Society, Grandover Resort and Conference Center, and Merrymaking Events before completing my lateral entry teaching license for Family and Consumer Sciences.
Working with some of the best chefs on the East Coast and planning events for some of the largest companies in NC and around, I have acquired lots of real-world knowledge to educate students who are a part of the Culinary and Hospitality Academy.  I'll look forward to working with your child.
IMPORTANT DATES: Shared in class and on white board with students.
