Welcome to World History! I'm looking forward to spending the year with you and getting to know you!
A bit about me. I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in History, Social Studies Education and double minor in Africana Studies and Judaic, Holocaust, and Peace Studies. Before coming to Oak Grove, I taught at Ledford High School and previously at R.J. Reynolds High School. My favorite period of history to study is the French Revolution as it's ideas at the time were considered radical, but today seem so inherent. Some hobbies I enjoy are traveling, crocheting, reading, and weightlifting.
We will be using Canvas to turn in the majority of our work for this course. I encourage parents to sign up as an 'Observer' to their students' courses. If you need assistance in doing this, please email me.
