I graduated from Auburn University (WAR EAGLE!) in the summer of 1987 and followed that with the Institute of Textile Technology in the spring of 1989. I have a B.S. in Textile Engineering and a M.S. in Textile Science. I earned my teaching certificate at UNCG in 2007. My previous teaching experience includes 1 year at Forbush High and 10 years at North Davidson High School before coming to Oak Grove in 2017.
Hobbies: I enjoy reading, cooking, watching college football and spending time with my family. My husband, Ernie, and I have three wonderful adult children Andy (Morgan), Eli and Molli. We also have one granddaughter, Emma and one grandson Kade.
Areas of Service: I am a member of the SIT team as well as the ACT prep team. I also serve as the advisor for the National Honor Society.
